Stepping up to the next level is a content-managed website. These are database-driven, that is to say that the content of the website is stored in a database
that can be updated. Databases are powerful applications, allowing searches and updates in real-time. A Content Management System (CMS) allows you to get content
in to your website without having to hand-edit pages of code. Another popular term for a database-driven website is a dynamic website.

database language is SQL (Structured Query Language) and we can work with just about any SQL database, or indeed other types of data-sources, e.g.

Electronic commerce, as the name suggests, allows a website to take secure payments online. There are a myriad of e-commerce solutions available
to the merchant, both free and commercial. Wombat Web have created, and continue to manage, a range of e-commerce enabled websites, and we have

The type of e-commerce solution you require depends on your business requirements, and the type of products you sell, be they tangible or
electronic. We have created payment systems for all types of products, including courses and workshops which require real-time ordering and
attendence lists.
We have also designed some sophisticated software for stock control, item sizing (clothing, for example), invoicing and reporting, including using
technologies such as AJAX for ensuring up-to-date stock levels and real-time stock level indicators etc.
More recently, new security schemes such as 3D VISA™ and MasterCard™ secure have been launched, and extra integration is
