The Diamond Store
TheDiamondStore.co.uk This sophisticated website is now managed by Wombat Web, and sells a range of Diamond Jewellery online. Features of this website include:

  • Coded in ColdFusion MX 7.0 with a MSSQL database
  • AbleCommerce shopping basket and customised back-end
  • Photo uploads; automatic thumbnail generation; drag-and-drop image selection
  • SEO optimised: Search Engine Friendly URLs and URL rewrites
  • Custom ProtX.com e-commerce provider payment gateway, with 3D Secure payment integration


Lan Sang Restaurant, Nerja
Lan Sang Lan Sang are a Thai and Lao restaurant based in the town of Nerja in the Axarquia region of Spain.

Wombat Web redesigned this HTML lite site from scratch with an eye-catching template and multiple translations.


Ray Mears / Woodlore
Ray Mears Website Over the past decade the name Ray Mears has become synonymous with Survival and Wilderness Bushcraft through his popular BBC television programmes.

Ray's existing website, raymears.com, has recently undergone both an extensive front-end and back-end revamp, comprising of a new Content Management System.

In addition, the site has these powerful facilities:

  • Web 2.0 template, XHTML and CSS standards compliant
  • Online shop and e-commerce gateway (using Netbanx)
  • Course/workshop booking interface with real-time course levels (coded using AJAX)
  • Scheduled e-mail payment reminders as course deadlines approach
  • Stock control (with AJAX real-time stock control updates) and invoicing routines
  • Mailing list with a filtered-mailshot facility
  • Manual payment interface for shop products and courses
  • Hierarchical (folder/sub-folder) data navigation
  • Real-time Quiz interface with question management and activation periods
  • Real-time Photo Galleries with full gallery administration and image uploading
  • Secure e-voucher system for gift purchases
  • Email and folder filtering using the MDaemon mail server (via IMAP folders)
  • Dedicated server, mail server, anti-virus and spam control - all installed and configured by Wombat Web

The CMS is coded in ColdFusion MX 6.1 and ECMAScript. Jason's popular CMS module has been used on this project to manage all site data. Jason has written the back-end e-commerce module and CMS. Microsoft's SQL Server 2000 is being used for the back-end database.

Stillpoint Yoga
Stillpont Yoga is the web portal of Yoga teacher John Scott, who has trained stars including Madonna and Sting.

This advanced solution consists of a front-end containing an online shop and student course-booking interface with real-time course place updates. The back-end provides a fully database-driven administration interface, which allows course and shop data to be maintained.

Back-endThe back-end is coded in Macromedia ColdFusion MX 6, and makes extensive use of cross platform ECMA scripting. The administration interface can be demonstrated upon request (this software is also available for integration with other client websites on a bespoke basis.)

The system manages course bookings and availability, shop purchases and refunds, mailing lists, user shopping baskets and sessions, credit-card based e-commerce transactions - via e-commerce provider Netbanx - as well as templates for all data-input tasks. The robust online course booking interface handled some £50,000 worth of transactions in its first month.

Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists

ACTAPSThe Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS) was created for lawyers specialising in contentious trust and probate work.

The website has recently been upgraded to utilise Jason's Content Management System (CMS), which is written in Macromedia ColdFusion MX 7, and allows ACTAPS to maintain and update press releases and membership lists, as well as serve and upload newsletter documents to its users.

Additional features include:
  • Google™ mapping of ACTAPS members
  • AJAX driven map loading
  • A noticeboard feature is also provided to allow ACTAPS' members to share information
Riad Dar Anika

Riad Dar Anika is a traditional town house hotel in the city of Marrakech situated at the entrance to the old Souk, a range of rooms for different budgets. All rooms are air conditioned, wi-fi enabled, and there is access to an indoor heated pool. This Riad is run by an English team in Marrakech and is full of Moroccan charm.
